Star Manor Lavender Farm & Lodging Star Manor is a 191-year-old Second Empire mansion in Waterville, New York. Louis and New Orleans Railroad. The home has 11 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.

Our home was built in 1832 by William Osborn, a railroad tycoon as head of the Illinois Central Railroad later the Chicago, St. Before Osborn, Jabez Hancock (brother of John Hancock) was the owner of this land and was more famously known for the creation of milk pans. We are a growing family of five, set out to restore this beautiful home all by ourselves! We do all the work, so progress might be slower than your average renovation. 2 bathrooms redone.1 closet redone.1 laundry room redone. All while welcoming baby #2 in February of 2025, making our toddler a big brother, maintaining full-time jobs, getting more involved in our community, making new friends, traveling, getting hundreds of lavender plants in the ground, getting blueberry bushes established, replacing our water line, having our property be a bit more developed, and sooooo much more! We are a busy bunch. We love what we’re doing. We love our life. We can’t wait to continue building in 2026 ✨❤️‍🔥HAPPY NEW YEAR, FRIENDS!
