OUR JOURNEY JANUARY 31, 2019 Our journey began many years ago. In 2005 I opened Pro-Skills Painting. We had great crews and a great leader. Enter 2009. With the economy the way it was we made the decision to shut down the painting company. I then went back to work for another contractor until Thanksgiving of 2015. In those 6 years I was able to gain a world of knowledge in the construction indus
try. We worked on everything from flipping houses to building brand new homes. Lets back track for a minute and let me introduce myself. Hello, my name is Chad Goodman. Proud husband and father to 3 amazing children and owner of what is known today as Preferred Property Professionals, LLC. Born and raised in Waukesha with 3 siblings and my mom and dad. I grew up watching my dad work in one manner or another in the construction/remodeling industry. From installing furnaces to rough and finish carpentry and handyman services he seemed to be able to do everything and I always watched and learned, even if it didn't seem that way to him I did. In 1999 I had an opportunity to work along side an uncle who owned a painting company. I would work through our summer vacations and whenever possible during the school years on and off for many years. I tried other industries and always ended up back in the field as a painter or remodeler. Now that brings us a little closer to 2005 and due to a lay off Pro-Skills Painting was created. We had a great few years and then the economy went in the wrong direction and I decided that it was time to back to work with a regular paycheck to provide for my family. I always had a dream of opening another company and 2 months after my wife and I purchased our house in 2015 I was laid off once again. For most with a family this would be a devastating situation to have to deal with, but me being who I am I was ready for it. I spent almost 2.5 years building relationships with suppliers, realtors and any person or business I felt was or would be an important person or business to have on my side when and if needed. So when I was laid off I took the 500 dollars I had saved and used it to start Preferred Property Professionals, LLC. It was almost instantly we started to see success. Between the relationships I had built and the skills I learned over the years we were able to provide the best pricing and best customer service any client would want and expect from a contractor invited into their home to work. Customer satisfaction is and always will be number 1. I like to say a happy customer is a returning customer! Don’t get me wrong, the first couple years were hard, weeks with no work meant weeks with no money coming in. Many times I wanted to give up. But I am a firm believer than mind over matter and anything is possible. I stayed committed and persistent in pursuing my dreams and worked very hard to get to where we are 3 years later. It was during our 3rd year we were able to add another truck and fully equipped trailer and moved into our own shop. We are here to stay and we are fully committed to our clients. All of our clients are as equally important to us. We like the big jobs and we like the small jobs and I believe that with the customer service and skills we offer we could become that household name. We have the knowledge and resources to tackle just about anything from the roof to the basement inside and out. Our clients include; property owners, property management groups, realtors, restaurants, pharmacies, department stores, daycares, medical billing facilities, etc. So whether you just need a simple fix or a complex building maintenance solution we are your one stop shop. So contact us and find out how Preferred Property Professionals, LLC can become your preferred property pro!
