This A/C in Waconia looked normal from the outside and was still operating, but during the inspection we found mice had moved into the insulated sound blanket around the compressor.

That blanket is there from the manufacturer to help reduce noise, but it can also become a cozy hiding spot if mice find their way in. Once we dug deeper, we found nesting material and debris that could have led to bigger problems if it went unchecked.

This is why a real A/C tune-up is more than “turn it on and see if it cools.” We inspect the unit, check electrical parts, look for airflow issues, and help catch problems before they turn into expensive repairs. Why are we rescheduling some A/C tune-ups?

Because your air conditioner needs warmer outdoor temps for a proper checkup. Jason explains why we like it to be above 65° before doing a full A/C tune-up, especially when checking refrigerant pressures and overall cooling performance.

We’d rather reschedule than give you a rushed or inaccurate tune-up just to keep the calendar full.
