Failor Hurley Construction is seeking candidates for our field coordinator position. We are a commercial general contractor with a talented field staff and great customer base. The ideal candidate will contribute leadership and experience to our continued success and growth.
Job Title: Field Coordinator
Compensation:
• Salary range - $80,000 to $125,000 based on experience

• We are a regional general contractor located in Waterloo, Iowa
• Project types include commercial and industrial construction
• Employed tradesmen self-perform concrete, steel, and carpentry work
• Our company was established in 2007, and we are employee owned
Responsibilities
• Oversee field operations
• Implement safety culture and safety programs
• Coordination of 20+ employees on multiple jobsites
• Manage field staff hiring, training, timesheets, and documentation
• Track vehicle fleet, owned equipment, and rental equipment
• Yard and shop organization and inventory
• Collaborate with customers and subcontractors for successful projects
Qualifications
• Minimum 5-years construction supervisor experience
• Roles with a general contractor in commercial or industrial construction
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in construction management or similar field
• Understanding of commercial construction blueprints and project specifications
• Experience with construction equipment including operation and maintenance
• Ability to prioritize daily and manage across multiple projects and sites
• History of teamwork, leadership, and problem solving
