✔️A water bill that jumped for no clear reason.

Small things—and easy to put off. But they can be early signs of something worth checking before it becomes a bigger repair.

One customer called us about a small refrigerator water-line issue. Wes and Connor arrived within three hours, fixed it quickly and even helped troubleshoot another water-related appliance while they were there.

Douglas Water Conditioning had a rockin’ time at the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce’s Rock on the Range Golf Classic!

There were a few Sweet Child O’ Mine shots, a couple that went Another One Bites the Dust, and maybe one or two balls that took the Highway to Hell. 😂

But one thing was definitely a hit — spending the day with an awesome group of local businesses and supporting the Clarkston community.

Because whether we’re on the course or back at work doing what we do best…Clean Water Matters. 💧🎸

Ever buy a really soft towel, then wonder a few months later where that softness went?

Most people blame the washing machine. Or the detergent. Or just chalk it up to normal wear.

📼 1989: The Berlin Wall came down, the Game Boy debuted, and Scott started at Douglas Water Conditioning.

📱 2006: Twitter launched, Facebook opened to everyone, Pluto lost its planet status… and Sean joined the Douglas crew.

Now in 2026, Scott has been here 37 years and Sean 20 years — that’s 57 years of combined Douglas experience in one photo. 🤯

There are actually two versions of the final filter in your RO system — a standard one and a premium one — and they're not doing the same job.

The standard filter is really just there for taste. It clears out chlorine and that flat taste water can pick up sitting in the tank. Good for most city-water homes with a clean track record.

The premium filter is a denser, more specialized carbon block, and it's rated to reduce 92 contaminants — including lead, PFAS ("forever chemicals"), pesticides, and trace pharmaceuticals. That's the one we tend to recommend if you're on well water, live somewhere with older plumbing, or just want the extra layer of protection.

We don't guess which one you need — we test your water first and go from there.
