There is a stress related lawn fungus called Ascochyta Leaf Blight. Does lawn fungus can show up overnight and may resemble fertilizer damage or burn marks.  If you think you might have something going on on your lawn that resembles the lawn fungus in the pictures, please contact Contenders Tree and we will send a technician out to evaluate.

There is a lawn stress related lawn fungus called Ascochyta Leaf Blight and it resembles fertilizer damage or burn marks and can happen overnight. I this fungus usually recovers within 2 to 3 weeks but can be treated with a lawn, fungicide treatment to speed the process of. Not sure if you have that or not?
