Did a total rehab of this classic porch last year, including the roof. Came back this year to paint the PT lumber used for new posts, stairs and railing.

Pro tip: only use oil-based primer for exterior work.

A friend, who had someone else build the frame for his deck, was having trouble installing the picture frame boards. Nothing lined up!

Turns out this end was badly out of square, but we fixed it in about half an hour! Angles on those decking boards are exactly 45 deg, and they fit pretty nicely.

Won't say exactly what we did, but forensic carpenters can figure it out. All the clues are there in the photo!
