TGIF! Little progress update on our Lakeview project. Huge multi point sliders and many of our Marvin window package units are in. It’s so nice to let the natural light back into our project space. Nice work team Cypress! Upward and onward 🤙🙏.

Hey everyone, Happy Sunday summer solstice and Father’s day! I always tell people my highest calling and most favorite job is being a dad. It’s a experience I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world. I love my two sprouting hobbits and not so little anymore son Owen with all my heart ❤️. Wishing a amazing day filled with joy to all the daddios out there 🙏🥳 ❤️

Part 2 as promised. Big shout out to Joe Bates for hosting this amazing workshop. It was also great to finally meet Jon Schuler, the chemist behind our sealer technology. Very sad that Brandon Gore couldn’t make it, I Hope to see you next time. Kodiak Pro These guys have created an amazing network and growing community for the very niche artisan concrete world. I am very grateful to have had this opportunity to refine some of my skill sets while in Napa, and also learn new techniques I can’t wait to try out in our shop. Photos and videos of us casting a huge planter pot with hand carved textures on the outside and two tone color detailing. Also casting a table top “upright” and processing. We also played around with making some smaller samples of whatever color… i picked purple and also went wild with some yellow and blue pigments with some hand carved textures and exposed aggregate. So much fun experiencing this with you guys and meeting a bunch of new talented artisans. I can’t wait for next year.

Part 1 of 2: I had the pleasure of flying out to Napa California last week to partake in a artisan concrete training hosted Joe Bates and put on by the faces behind Kodiak Pro our go to material supplier for all our concrete projects. I have so much gratitude for the community being built here, raw talent, creativity and inspiration that these events bring. We spent the week learning about casting large and small planter pots, bowls, and (could be) bathtubs. We also spent some time casting a table piece up right (cast in place technique) and also ran through the whole line of products Kodiak Pro.
California was pretty amazing this time of year. I got to explore the beauty of Napa in a slowed down way cruising from place to place on my skateboard. I also made a special trip to San Francisco, drove over the golden gate bridge, found a random drum and bass day time dance party on treasure island… it was epic 🥳. Stay tuned for post #2…

Hey 👋 TGIF everyone… I picked up some Copper sheeting for custom metal details around our curvy pond side deck and catwalk, framing continues at our Lakeview project, the shop team delivered some beautiful custom made ambrosia maple cabinets to our yoga studio project as well… stay tuned for more. ☀️🤙🙌✌️
