Thrive Fest 2026 is happening tomorrow August 1st at the Menard Sports Center where 1100 pairs of shoes will be given away to Alaska’s youth and good times will be had.

Shadow Mountain Locksmith is proud to sponsor the U-Haul equipment needed to transport all the goodies, and Hottie Hut Espresso with providing fresh coffee grounds to keep the volunteers fueled!

Good morning Alaska!

We have been extremely busy the last few months between locksmith work, ignition interlock devices and the U-Hauls at our location.

We appreciate each and every one of our customers, and wanted to extend an extra amount of gratitude toward those who have had a little more patience with us as of late.

We are currently training new team members and finding the right ones who can operate in this non-stop, fast paced environment serving our community 7 days a week.

🚨Interested in learning a new trade?🚨

We hare currently hiring for a Locksmith apprentice and shop hand in our busy automotive shop with an immediate opening.

Duties include:
👉 Key cutting/programming
👉 Ignition Interlock Installation/Maintenance
👉 Tow System installation/Repair
👉 U-Haul Fleet dispatch, check-in and cleaning

This is a full-time, year-round position that also includes occasional work in the field doing automotive and residential lockouts.
All training is in-house, tools for the work necessary are provided, although we encourage applicants to invest in their own as their skill set grows.
