Cable rail is rapidly replacing glass, wood, iron, and aluminum railings as the railing of choice for decks, balconies, and stairs. We are one of the industry’s leading sources for "easy to install" modular aluminum and stainless steel cable railing systems. Many prefer to install a glass railing system for the open view it creates around their deck. However, glass tends to build up dirt and grime and requires regular cleaning to maintain that clear view. If you prefer spending less, then a wood picket system would likely be your first choice. Keep in mind that even the finest, pressure-treated woods can become susceptible to the outdoor elements and fall victim to issues such as dry rot. Now, consider the aluminum cable railing system by Stainless Cable & Railing. Our aluminum system is easy to install for outdoor deck railing and requires low maintenance while providing the clear view you are looking for. Located on the Northwestern tip of the US in Vancouver Washington, Stainless Cable Railing supplies manufactures and ships modular aluminum railing systems that are quick to install for master contractors as well as first-time Do-It-Yourself homeowners. All purchases are accompanied by easy-to-use installation instructions that any homeowner, DIYer, or professional can follow. Stainless Cable & Railing’s aluminum systems are a unique design of predrilled, powder-coated, newel posts created for use with stainless steel wire rope and fittings. Our aluminum handrail systems are available in 5 outstanding colors which consist white, clay, silver, bronze, and black. Each terminal, or end post, is strengthened with a patented interior webbing to enhance post stability. The added webbing helps to prevent the bowing of the post created by the stresses of tensioning cables. These railing systems can be mounted on either the top of the deck, along the side of the fascia board, or even core mounted into concrete. For your top rail, we offer a flat rectangular, rounded shape, and narrow post-to-post rail, as well as various bracket options for using any wood top rail of your choice. SIMPLE
Maintenance-free! No glass to clean or pickets to stain. Cable rail systems and handrails are easy to install with our step-by-step instructions. Our staff is available by phone or email from 8am to 5pm PST Monday through Friday. STRONG

These durable and stylish systems offer a unique look for both indoors and outdoors of your home or office. Our low maintenance and easy to clean systems offer a trendy, yet elegant, look to any setting. Most industries can benefit from a stainless cable railing system. From a condo to a strip mall, auto dealership to newly developed skyscraper, cable railing systems can be applied to any scenario in almost any setting. For those odd or irregular designs, we have a variety of ways to customize your railing so it works for you. While custom projects require additional fabrication time most of our modular deck railing systems are available for immediate shipping. ASSURANCE
At Stainless Cable & Railing we work hard to make sure our railing systems meet International building code. In order to meet the required 4-inch deflection, which is how far two parallel cables can be spread apart, our aluminum posts come standard pre-drilled at 3 inch spacing on the center. After proper tensioning, along with a maximum spacing between posts of 5 feet, your cable railing will meet cable deflection. Building code typically requires either a railing height of 36 inches (common for homes) or a 42-inch height (usually required for commercial applications). Sometimes there is no need to completely remove your old rail when cable railing can simply spruce up what you already have. For those who wish to retain part of an existing railing system, cable railing is versatile enough to be integrated into your present wood, stone, or metal system. To make your installation even easier Stainless Cable & Railing offers the additional service of professionally swaging the fittings onto your cable to assist those looking for a faster and cleaner installation. For a quick estimation, our starting prices per lineal foot are as follows:
ALUMINUM RAILING SYSTEMS with CABLE RAIL: $60 per Lineal Foot
ROUND STAINLESS STEEL RAILING SYSTEM with CABLE RAIL: $105 per Lineal Foot
SQUARE STAINLESS STEEL RAILING SYSTEM with CABLE RAIL: $120 per Lineal Foot
