There's something we'd like to address and this photo is so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
Diesel prices have risen exponentially since the beginning of the year. In a month, our transportation costs more than doubled and continue to rise. We contemplated on raising our building prices but ultimately decided against it because we want to continue to be able to offer quality buildings for an affordable price, even through the rise of fuel costs. Thankfully, since we are just a husband and wife business, we don't have to worry about employees. We can tighten our own belts a bit, tough it out and hope that diesel prices will lower in the future. If not, that'll be a different story.
However, we have had to increase our delivery costs. We hope this is just temporary and if we already gave you a delivery quote, we will honor the price. All of our equipment uses diesel, and when people claim we are out of line for what we are charging for delivery, believe me, we don't like it anymore than you do. If you're not from central Illinois you may not know that we are now paying $6.29 a gallon. We always offer pickup as well. If you don't have a trailer, rentals are a great option too. We have used Central Illinois Trailer Rental, LLC in the past and they are wonderful!! Please realize, that we aren't a huge company with multiple locations. We're just a family with one location in Washington, IL and we appreciate all of you!
