Hey friends, hope you all are having a great and safe Tuesday

Just a reminder for all of our friends that we’ve worked hard for.

Your referrals and recommendations for a small business like ours are Paramount to our success whether it’s over Facebook or just a simple text or phone call getting a company name from a friend you trust means everything and it’s good for us too as business owners as well. The trust goes both ways. When you refer a trustworthy service provider your friends already feel better about the experience when we receive the call from your friend. We know that your friend is going to treat us the same great way that you did. It is a double blessing when you refer a great service provider

Secondly, at 55 years old and a busy schedule I myself as the business owner just don’t have a lot of time to scan the Internet for bad reviews. Thanks to my text savvy daughter ,this morning she found three bad reviews one from years ago from a guy who just wasn’t happy about the price on his job, which I knew about and let’s be honest you can’t please everybody also he was not a referral. He found us online. But then, with a further look, my daughter looked on yelp, which I never signed up for, and found two bad reviews one from a gentleman that lives in Florida and owns property here in Washington PA this individual was unhappy because the insurance company that he had a policy with wouldn’t pay for what needed done and sadly he blamed our company, then decided to rate our service as less than good. And lastly, it was no big surprise to see a review from a fellow that was just angry and arrogant.(also not a referral from a friend.) from the first visit, he was condescending and complaining about everything that he had to do because the utility company said so then proceeded to falsely represent what happened on his job a.k.a. Justin an angry person.

So to sum it up, your part is important as a friend of Woods family service. Without great friends and friend, a friend referrals, the unkind and impersonal world we live in prevails. We here at Woods family service are so thankful for your support over the years and thank you for giving us the privilege to serve your friends and family from friend to friend and generation to generation we are committed to honoring that relationship. If you or a friend of yours can use our service we will be there.

Hey folks, wanna give a big shout out to Brookmans iron and metals a great company right here in Washington PA most of you know they are a generational family business. We were recently blessed to do some work for them. Check out this old collection box.

We completely remove the old one and installed a solid, heavy duty brand new collection basin then attached to the current piping

We worked through the crazy rain we were having at that time and set it up for temporary with cold patch and then came back with heavy, rebar and heavy duty concrete to protect the new work from heavy truck traffic.

Hey folks, we hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Independence Day celebration !!! I want to thank everybody that recently added me and followed me!!

 I just can’t say enough about how thankful I am to have come in contact with so many great customers and friends, and many of our customers have become good friends over these years in business. You all are truly a blessing!! thank you for commenting and thank you especially for sharing our information with all of your friends. And trusting us to be your plumbing and excavation providers. It is always an honor!!

Hey folks, just making a quick post to wish you all well in this terrible blustery weather and a few quick reminders from your friends here at Woods family service:
The
Kind of weather we’re about to experience can be very serious to your home and your health.

Number one be mindful of your exposure to the elements appropriately in layers and stay dry if you perspire and become wet, get indoors change clothes warm up before you go back out

Cover your extremities appropriately frostbite happens fast

Stay hydrated, believe it or not. This
is one of the easiest times to become dehydrated. You have to have water your body needs it and if you don’t wanna drink anything cold when it’s cold like me just heat up some good drinking water, warm water, absorbs faster anyway.🫖 coffee, and tea are nice, but it’s not enough and they will dehydrate you as well 

Be careful with space heaters if you use one, be sure the outlet is grounded and not burdened by other fixtures being plugged in house fires happen every year because of the inappropriate use of space heaters

Be careful shoveling that snow get help where you can,
heart attacks happen faster, and to younger people than you think

How about that outside hose make sure it’s turned off and the hose is disconnected .
Every year Plumbers have to replace piping because someone forgot to take the hose off outside and didn’t insulate the spigot and make sure it was properly drained and the water damage to the interior can be significant 

Don’t leave dripping faucets, unattended, thinking that you will keep it from freezing if that area is cold in extreme conditions the drain could freeze too. The best thing you could do is be sure that the air from outside is not getting through insulate where you can and open up area so that heat can travel there

 if you have to let a faucet drip, make sure the drain is wide open before you do slow drains freeze even faster than clean ones 

Reach out to the people around you that are living alone, especially the elderly but young people too. Everyone needs help in these kinds of situations and you never know they could be the help that you need as well

Take a deep breath, calm down and then get after it😊

Be a community be aware, share about weather and news alerts and keep an eye on your pets exposure will affect them as well.
