Ready or not, LEED v5 is here, and my study notes have taken over the desk. 📚🌿

This summer, I completed LEED Building Design & Construction training and a LEED v5 Existing Buildings O+M workshop through DCSEU’s Train Green program. Now I’m studying for the exams. It has been brutal and exciting in equal measure!

A huge thank-you to Kocak, LEED Fellow, Founder and CEO of Fulya Kocak, LLC. You know this work inside and out, and it shows in how you teach it. The information you shared was invaluable. Honestly, I don’t think I would have made it through both courses without you. Big ups, Fulya! 👏🏽

I’m especially excited to bring what I’m learning about decarbonization, energy performance, and sustainable buildings into the conversations we have with project teams at Allen-Norris. For now, it’s back to studying. I’m looking forward to taking the exams soon! 💪🏽
