We just successfully completed our 3rd company-wide Virgin Pulse step challenge of 2023, the Postcard Perfect Trek! This digital step challenge started in New York City and we finished in Seattle by unlocking 19 different locations! In each location we saw beautiful postcards and learned interesting facts about each spot along our way! In total, we took 3,113,508 steps and covered 1,557 miles 🏃♂️🏃♀️
Out of 33 participants, 19 achieved over 90,000 steps by the end of the challenge. Congratulations to all participants 🎉🎉🎉 Check out all the beautiful places our participants discovered while racking up their steps!

This month the CME Corp. Team had a successful fundraiser which will allow us to send 68 care packs to troops deployed overseas!
On Memorial Day and every day, we are forever grateful for the ultimate sacrifice of those who gave their lives for the United States of America. Their courage and dedication will never be forgotten.
CME’s Roger Iannetta is that colleague who became a friend and his passing has left a cloud of sadness hanging over CME Corp. and our parent, Claflin Company.
In the words of CME President and CEO, Normand Chevrette, Roger was, “a kind soul in a sometimes-cruel world, always a good sport, and ready with a hearty handshake accompanied by that famous Roger smile.” Chairman of Claflin Co. and CME, Ted Almon beautifully epitomizes Roger, affirming, “he was an example of hard work and ethical behavior to several generations of associates.”
Others close to Roger recall, “he set the bar for work ethic” and “he was always one of the first to respond and ask what he could do to help." “Roger’s larger than life personality will be missed by everyone at CME.” And “Truly a one-of-a-kind character whose spirit and influence leave a legacy that will live on.” “An icon in the Long-Term Care business."
Like tributes, memories like this one shared by our President Normand are cathartic. “There may not be many who know that Roger loved cards. We played quite a bit together. He was the type of player who loved the 4-card flush or the open-ended straight draw. He was a risk taker, and it was always exciting just to watch him in that element. I will always wish that we could have had just one more game.”
Roger was, and is, our mentor, colleague, and, in the words of Normand Chevrette, “one of my most cherished friends.”

A group of the CME Corp. IT Department got together out of the office to compete in a local Terrain Race this past weekend! The team had to jump, climb, roll, and crawl through a one-of-a-kind obstacle course featuring knee-high mud pools, 6 ft walls, monkey bars, and Tarzan ropes! (in the 🌧️)!!!
Nice job completing the race and we can't wait to see what feats you attempt next!
In honor of Military Appreciation Month our is Revelle Shedrick! Revelle has been with CME Corp. for over 5 years as a DTS Regional Manager and is known around CME for being a very hard working, dedicated individual, who has an extremely strong attention to detail. He excels with his work-life balance and it isn’t unusual for him to spontaneously decide to complete a 12-mile backpacking excursion, SOLO!
Revelle served in the United States Marine Corps from 2009 – 2018 as a 6174 UH-1Y Helicopter Crew Chief/Mechanic and an 2336 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician with the majority of his enlistment in Jacksonville, NC where he met his wife and started a family. He went on one combat deployment to Afghanistan for OEF 13.1-13.2, a non-combat deployment to the Black Sea region for a year to help deter Russian aggression, a non-combat deployment to the Republic of Georgia to train NATO troops in the detection and disposal of improvised explosive devices, and teamed up with the USSS (Secret Service) on a handful of VIP Protection details for POTUS, US government officials, and foreign delegates where they performed route sweeps, threat assessments, and personnel equipment and vehicle searches. Revelle honorably separated in 2018 and joined the CME team!!!

In honor of Military Appreciation Month, our today is Paula Donnelly! Paula is a Customer Service Representative in our RI office who is known by her team for being hard-working, extremely helpful and always putting others first!
Paula joined the Navy in 1979 shortly after graduating from high school. She spent her time in the Navy as a Singer/Musician with the Navy Show Band and was stationed in various locations including Maine, Japan, Florida, and Italy. While in the Navy she auditioned and got accepted to tour with Tops in Blue for six months!
In her free time Paula enjoys karaoke, doing puzzles and reading! Her favorite vacation spot is Las Vegas!

CME Corp.'s latest team step challenge was another successful one! In this challenge we virtually started in Japan and finished in Brazil while discovering unique ways to practice mindfulness through various cultures at our 15 destinations! In total, we took 3,291,613 steps and covered 1,646 miles!
