There are a lot of things homeowners think they need to figure out before starting a remodel: Layouts. Budgets. Materials. Timelines. Permits. Appliances. Lighting. Storage. Where to even begin.

And while those things absolutely matter, the good news is you don’t have to figure them all out on your own. That’s where we come in.

One of the biggest benefits of working with a design-build firm is having a team that guides you through the entire process from start to finish. From our first conversation, our goal is to make sure homeowners feel informed, heard, supported, and taken care of every step of the way.

We help clients navigate all the aspects of a remodel while making sure communication stays clear throughout the process. All of your questions are answered and your concerns are addressed. Decisions feel much less overwhelming because there’s always a team helping guide the next step forward.

Most homeowners don’t come to us with every answer already figured out. They come to us knowing their space no longer works for the way they live and wanting someone they can trust to help them through the process. That partnership is one of the most important parts of what we do.

So if you’re thinking about remodeling your kitchen, bathroom, or even your entire home, here’s step one: call us. We’ll help with the other nine. Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio or stop by our Warwick showroom to get started.

All-white kitchens had their moment in the sun, but homeowners are starting to crave spaces that feel warmer and a little more personal.

We’re seeing a major shift toward layered spaces filled with color, texture, and character. Warm wood tones are making a strong comeback, bringing depth and softness into kitchens and baths. Statement stone and patterned wallpaper are being used more intentionally to create focal points that feel unique to the homeowner instead of overly uniform.

Mixed metals are also having a moment. Instead of matching every finish perfectly, designers are layering tones like brass, black, nickel, and bronze to create spaces that feel more collected and lived in. Rich cabinet colors, textured materials, bold details, and color drenched rooms are helping homes feel less like showrooms and more like reflections of the people living in them. People want to live in homes with personality.

The best kitchens and bathrooms don’t just look beautiful in photos (although that’s absolutely a plus!). They feel warm, welcoming, functional, and connected to the people who use them every day. They’re designed in a way that feels personal and makes sense for how the people living there actually use the space.

If you’re thinking about updating your own space and want help balancing timeless design with current trends, we’re here to help! Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio.

So you’ve decided it’s finally time to update your outdated space. Exciting? Yes. Overwhelming? Also yes.

One of the biggest decisions homeowners make early on is whether to hire a designer and contractor separately, or work with a design-build firm that handles everything under one roof. And if you’ve never remodeled before, it can be hard to understand what the actual difference is.

Traditionally, a designer focuses on the vision and layout of the space, while the contractor is responsible for building it. Both play important roles, but when they operate separately, homeowners often end up coordinating communication between multiple teams, timelines, and decisions themselves. It's a lot easier for decisions to slip through the cracks and for timelines to be moved in this scenario.

With a design-build firm, the designer and construction team work together from the very beginning. That means layouts, budgets, selections, timelines, and construction details are all being considered at the same time, by one connected team. It also means decisions can be made more intentionally. Designers can create spaces that are not only beautiful, but realistic for construction and aligned with the project budget from the start. Questions get answered faster, timelines tend to move more efficiently, and potential issues can often be identified before construction even begins.

Having everything under one roof also creates a much more cohesive experience for the homeowner. Instead of juggling multiple companies, contracts, and moving pieces, you have one team guiding the process from concept and selections all the way through construction and final installation.

A remodel involves hundreds of moving parts, and having one connected team helps keep the entire experience clearer, smoother, and far less stressful for you.

If you’re thinking about starting a remodel and want a team that can guide you through the entire process, schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio! We'd love to make your dream space come to life.

Sometimes a space doesn’t need a complete overhaul to feel dramatically different.

For this bathroom, our clients weren’t looking for a full renovation. They liked the overall footprint of the space, but wanted it to function better for everyday life and feel more updated, organized, and intentional.

So instead of changing the layout, we focused on a thoughtful pull-and-replace remodel that elevated how the bathroom looked and worked. Storage was redesigned to support daily routines more naturally, while durable, easy-to-clean surfaces made maintenance simpler without sacrificing style. Updated lighting and fixtures helped the space feel brighter, more open, and more refined and the eucalyptus green shower tiles add a soft pop of color.

This room is a great example of how impactful smaller design decisions can be. The right cabinetry and storage solutions, paired with thoughtful material selections and intentional lighting, can completely shift how a space feels without requiring a full reconfiguration.

Now, the bathroom feels timeless and functional, while also being much more aligned with how the homeowners actually live.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your own bathroom but aren’t sure what level of remodel makes the most sense for your space, we’d love to help you explore the possibilities. Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio.

Holidays have a way of reminding you how important it is to have a home that brings people together, and with Memorial Day weekend right around the corner, that’s exactly what’s been on our mind.

Before anyone even makes it outside, everyone somehow ends up gathered in the kitchen. Someone’s finishing appetizers while another person pours drinks around the island. Kids run in and out looking for snacks, someone’s opening drawers searching for serving utensils, and despite having the whole house to spread out in, the conversation always seems to circle back to this one space.

The best entertaining spaces aren’t always the biggest ones. They’re the ones designed to make hosting feel easy and natural. Thoughtful layouts help people stay connected instead of separated across rooms. Large islands create gathering points, while built-in storage keeps serving pieces, drinks, and everyday clutter tucked away but still accessible. Layered lighting helps the space transition from busy mornings to relaxed evenings, and durable finishes allow the home to be lived in without feeling overly precious.

When a home is designed around how you actually live and gather, hosting stops feeling stressful and starts feeling enjoyable again.

If you’ve been wishing your home worked a little better for holidays, weekends, or everyday life with family and friends, our designers would love to help. Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio or stop by our Warwick showroom!

Some spaces are designed to blend in. Others are created to become part of the experience.

For this custom bar display, the goal was to create something with a little more dimension, texture, and personality than a traditional home bar. Instead of taking a more traditional approach, we layered in unexpected details that make the space feel elevated from every angle.

The Dorado finish on the countertop from Grothouse brings in depth and movement, while the rich wine-colored cabinetry adds warmth and plays into the purpose of the space itself. Rather than standard glass inserts, we opted for wire mesh to create more texture and visual interest, giving the display a slightly more collected, custom feel. Lighting also plays a huge role here. Integrated lighting runs in multiple directions throughout the display, with illuminated shelving that gives glassware a subtle sparkle and helps highlight each detail throughout the space.

And beyond aesthetics, the design was built to function beautifully too. Pull-out storage keeps bottles organized and accessible, a paneled refrigerator blends seamlessly into the cabinetry, and custom drawer configurations create dedicated space for cocktail accessories and entertaining essentials.

It’s meant to be a piece your guests see once and can’t stop talking about!

If you’re thinking about incorporating custom features into your own home, our designers can help you create something that feels both functional and uniquely yours. Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio.

We’re honored to share that RIKB has received the 2026 Guildmaster with Distinction Award from GuildQuality!

Our clients are trusting us with the spaces where they gather, celebrate, recharge, and spend everyday life. Being part of that process is something we never take lightly and really highlights the trust you place in us.

This recognition also reflects the care our entire team puts into every project, from thoughtful design conversations and selection meetings to construction, communication, and all the little details in between.

And most importantly, thank you to our amazing clients. Thank you for trusting us, collaborating with us, and inviting us into your homes. We truly couldn’t do this without you. We’re so grateful to continue doing what we love every day!

The difference between a good kitchen and a great one comes down to how it’s designed to function.

For these homeowners, that meant transforming a dated kitchen and dining room into one cohesive, highly functional space. Instead of working around two separate rooms, we reimagined the layout entirely, merging them into a U-shaped kitchen with a central island that supports how the family cooks, gathers, and moves throughout the space.

From there, it was all about intentional planning. After talking with our clients to understand how they use the space, we built in storage at every level, with custom cabinetry, rollouts, appliance storage, and even a built-in step stool to make everyday use easier. Features like induction cooking, dual sinks, and a pasta faucet elevate how the kitchen functions, while details like custom tile and a wooden hood bring warmth and character to the design.

What makes a space like this work is how every decision builds on the next, creating a kitchen that feels seamless, efficient, and tailored to the homeowners. The end result is a space that looks elevated, while still working beautifully for everyday life.

If you’re thinking about reimagining your own kitchen, we’d love to help you get started. Schedule a complimentary consultation through the link in our bio and let’s bring your vision to life.
