Just wrapped up a last-minute project this morning for one of my longest-standing and dearest clients.
She and her soon to be husband are getting married on the Fourth of July at their absolutely stunning 1922 manor home overlooking the Bohemia River. For their evening ceremony, they wanted family and friends to have a clear view as they exchanged their vows. Because of the significant change in elevation across the backyard, they asked us to build an elevated cedar platform to help create the perfect setting.
It's been an honor to play a small part on such a special day. Wishing them a lifetime of happiness together.
And after the ceremony...Fireworks!🇺🇲

Drilling out for a floating black walnut mantle. You pretty much get one shot at this, so you need to triple check, drill once. 1/16" margin for error. This is the first time I have worked with black walnut. Sure doesn't smell as nice as cedar when working with it.
