It’s peony season! Do you want peonies that bloom longer, do not flop when it rains, and do not attract ants? Go for a tree peony variety! These were just cut from our personal landscape beds. Contact us if you need these added to your current landscape beds or in a new design. There are several colors to choose from.

Mark headed south again to the Chattanooga area this winter to tear out an old deck and install a new outdoor living space for his aunt and uncle. There were many components in this project, including a retaining wall using outcropping stone, a flagstone patio with a fire pit along with an adjoining paver patio, a grill area, and outcropping steps. Enjoy the before and after pictures from this job.

Happy New Year to you all! One of the best parts of this profession is creating outdoor living spaces that bring families and friends together. Mark spent some time last winter creating a large space for his aunt and uncle in the Chattanooga area. We are on our way home from visiting them, and we enjoyed a refreshing 60 degree day where about 55 family members gathered for a fun day together and a low country sea food boil. They built their beautiful new home in a way where large sliding doors open out into their patio area. With grandkids coming over to play every week, Mark’s aunt wanted the area to be a place where they could climb, play, hop across the big koi pond on little steps and have a blast. This spring all the plants and shrubs will mature and bloom, which will add a whole new dimension. We are looking forward to creating a new space for another aunt and uncle in the same area this winter.
