Today we were called out to provide an estimate for a panel replacement. When we arrived, we asked the homeowner what concerns they were having. They mentioned hearing a buzzing noise coming from the electrical panel and assumed it needed to be replaced.

Instead of jumping straight to replacement, we asked if we could take a closer look and diagnose the issue—and they agreed.

After a thorough inspection, we found that the panel itself was still in good condition. The problem? A few breakers had gone bad and needed to be replaced.

The customer was both surprised and relieved—especially after two other contractors had already told them the entire panel needed to be replaced.

This is exactly why we always recommend getting a second (or even third) opinion when it comes to major electrical work. Not every problem requires the most expensive solution.

At the end of the day, we believe in doing what’s right for the customer—keeping your home safe without unnecessary costs.
