🌳 That tree hanging over your roof? Winter isn’t going to make it any safer.

With colder weather approaching, now is the time to be proactive about trees and overhanging limbs that could pose a risk to your home.

❄️ Snow and ice can add significant weight to already compromised limbs, increasing the risk of breakage and potentially causing thousands of dollars in property damage.

We’re not here to sell fear. We’re here to help our community stay informed and prepared.

💪 As you can see here, Gavin is carefully working his way down a tree leaning directly over a homeowner’s roof.

Technical removals like these require precision, proper equipment, and a crew that knows exactly what they’re doing.

With over 10 years of experience, our team understands what it takes to get the job done safely and efficiently.

🏡 Your home is one of your biggest investments. Protecting it starts with being proactive, not reactive.

If you have a tree or overhanging limbs that concern you, don’t wait until the next winter storm to have them evaluated.

📞 Call Kertz Tree Service at 636-730-0577.

🌳 Professional. Experienced. Committed to safety.

🌳 When a tree leans over your house, you want more than someone who knows how to run a saw.

You want a crew that knows how to work together.

🛠️ Our OG CREW brings 27 years of combined crew experience to jobs like this one in Innsbrook and that’s before counting mine.

That experience shapes how we plan the job, handle the rigging, and work as a team.

✅ Your home matters to you. The crew you trust around it should, too.

📞 If experience and safety matter to you, give us a call at 636-730-0577.

This aerial shot tells the story better than words ever could. 🌳🏠

From the ground, this tree still had a full, green canopy and appeared relatively healthy. But its major lean directly over the home and through the deck area was enough for these homeowners to take action before it became a much bigger problem.

Once we worked our way down, we discovered rot beginning near the base of the trunk. What looked healthy above was telling a very different story below.

That proactive decision may have prevented tens of thousands of dollars in potential property damage.

With the location of this tree, this wasn’t a simple removal. It required technical climbing, controlled cuts, precise rigging, and a ground crew working together every step of the way. Our head climber, Gavin, handled the climb while the rest of the crew helped make sure every piece came down safely and exactly where intended. 🪢🪚

And with fall here and winter right around the corner, now is the time to pay attention to questionable trees. Cold temperatures, winter weather, snow, and added weight on compromised limbs can expose weaknesses that may not be obvious today. ❄️

If a tree leaning toward your home is already costing you peace of mind, don’t wait for a winter storm to make the decision for you.

Let the Kertz Tree Service crew take a look and walk you through your options.

Sometimes a declining tree gives you warning signs you just have to know what to look for. 🌳🔍

For us, it’s never about showing up and telling you a tree has to come down.

It’s about educating you, explaining your options, and helping you make the safest decision for your property. 🤝

When problems like Hypoxylon Canker begin compromising an oak, the tree can become brittle and lose structural integrity quickly turning a manageable situation into a serious safety concern. ⚠️

That’s why catching potential issues early matters.

At Kertz Tree Service, safety is always the priority for your family, your property, and our crew. We’re happy to come out, take a look, answer your questions, and give you our professional opinion with **zero high-pressure sales.**

After 10 years in the industry, Gavin has earned the kind of trust where you can hand him a job and know it’s going to be done right.
As Kertz Tree Service’s first employee, Gavin has been a huge part of the team from the beginning. He’s a top-notch climber, a creative problem solver, and when the job calls for nerves of steel… he’s got those too. 💪🌲
But what stands out just as much as his skill is his leadership. He’s dependable, he leads by example, and he’s someone the entire crew can count on.
When Gavin heads out on a job, there’s full confidence that the work will be handled safely, professionally, and correctly. For the past decade, it’s been an honor to have Gavin by our side. We’re incredibly grateful for his hard work, leadership, and the example he continues to set for our team. 👏
