Okay you people hear me on this. Every year old Mr. Chuck shouts from his lonely perch high atop the mountain. And every year someone does not get the message. FLEA SEASON IS HERE. You have decisions to make. Either treat your pet with a high quality product or take your chances. I usually have to treat three times to get rid of them. And every time I do I have more fleas on me than and old hound dog( unless he has been treated ). I do not enjoy this and therefore charge accordingly. And for the love of all that is holy do not take in a stray without treating them first. I will wait for the phone to ring.

Tips from Chuck #11. So you got an old shed or other outbuilding loaded with 8 legged freaks. Set off a fogger occasionally. they are cheap and will kill anything there at the time. It does not have a lasting effect so you might consider doing it often.

Yes your friendly neighborhood pest control man is considered by local, state and federal guidelines to be essential. No it is not business as usual. Some issues can and should be dealt with from the outside only. Should I need to come inside you do not have to leave but should consider it as added measure. I will be wearing a mask and gloves to protect us all.

So pest control season is nigh among us. With the new concerns of a pandemic I want to assure old friends and new customers alike that I have a game plan that will meet any concerns that you might have. I will not lie to you I have always been a proponent of treating the interior as well as the exterior. But an exterior only is a much better option than none at all. Than when things get back to normal we will back to normal treatments. I am ten ft tall and bullet proof if anyone would prefer an interior treatment anyway. I just maybe might hit you with a little Lysol on my way in.

The ants are back aren't they. You have tried the 409. You have sprinkled everything from garlic to cinnamon across your counter top like your friends suggested. You have done everything the internet and readers digest recommended. You have spent your children's inheritance trying to save money. Everything short of burning down the house. I got a call from the Daily Star Journal today. My company has been voted somewhere in the top three Best of the Burg companies for the Exterminators category. I will not know whether it was first, second, or third until the end of the month. Wherever I place I would like to express my gratitude to the following. To my God who has given me many blessings and strength to carry on when things seemed overwhelming. To my family including my church family who have supported me and cheered me on, my son who helps an old dog learn new tricks on a constant basis. And most of all to my customers many of whom seem more like dedicated fans and make working a joy not a burden.

Tips from Chuck # 10. Death by Numbers. We are fortunate here in Missouri in that we have very few pest that can cause us harm. One exception is the Yellow Jacket. They look like Honey Bees except they are bright yellow and black and they are a member of the Wasp family. They nest in the ground or a wood pile and also like to nest in your chimney if they can find a way in. They are notorious for being easily angered by motion or noise. Occasionally you hear of someone who has been stung to death. When riled up they release a pheromone that can cause the whole colony to attack. If you find yourself facing these guys run far, run fast, your life just might depend on it. I strongly suggest calling a professional if you encounter a colony. Please like my post. Tips from Chuck # 9. Extra Protein. Our first really hot day good time to bring up the subject of pantry pest, When you buy flour,pasta.cereal,dog food, bird seed etc. from the store it comes with the eggs of food pest included. Yum, hows your appetite. And if you keep it in an area that is hot and humid they graduate to critters. So if you find lots of little beetles or little brown and tan moths around or near your food you got troubles. To prevent this keep food items in a cool and dry place. And use air tight containers. Especially for large bags of pet food and bird seed. If it happens thoroughly inspect all food items and discard infested items. The moths are the most common problem and they are called Indian Meal Moths. To get rid of these you may need to buy a pheromone trap designed for them. If you put out more than one you might make the problem worse buy bringing more in from the outside. And if things get really out of hand call your friendly local bug guy.
