Today marks one year since the passing of Refik Bahonjic, co-owner of Twin State Basement Services.
Refik was more than a business owner—he was the foundation of our company. His leadership, work ethic, and commitment to doing things the right way helped shape Twin State Basement Services into what it is today.
For years, Refik poured his heart into this company, his employees, and the customers he served. Most importantly, he poured his heart into his family. He believed in hard work, honesty, and treating people with respect. Those values continue to guide us every day and remain at the core of everything we do.
A year later, his absence is still deeply felt by our team, our customers, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. While we miss his presence, we are grateful for the legacy he left behind—a legacy built on integrity, dedication, and family.
For Saudin and the entire Bahonjic family, today serves as a reminder of a father, husband, mentor, and friend whose influence extended far beyond the walls of our business. The lessons Refik taught through his actions continue to inspire our team and shape the future of this company.
As we reflect on his life and contributions, we honor the man who helped build Twin State Basement Services from the ground up and whose impact continues to be seen in every project we complete.
