We're excited to share the final photos of the newly renovated Andrews Center at the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick.

This renovation transformed more than 12,700 square feet into a modern, student-focused environment designed to support learning, collaboration, and success. The project included the creation of a new Student Success Center, updated student commons and gathering spaces, renovated offices and support areas, custom millwork, storefront systems, upgraded finishes, and extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology improvements.

From demolition to ribbon cutting, it has been a privilege to help bring this vision to life alongside the College of Coastal Georgia, University System of Georgia, JMA Architecture, and the many trade partners who made this project possible.

We are proud to deliver a facility that will serve students for years to come and grateful for the opportunity to be part of another project that strengthens communities through quality construction.

After devastating fire and water damage in September 2024, S&S Cafeteria on Riverside Drive has been fully restored and renovated, preserving the legacy of one of Middle Georgia’s most beloved restaurants. Originally founded in 1936 and serving Macon since 1972, S&S has welcomed generations of families through its doors — and we were honored to play a part in rebuilding that tradition.

The renovated space features a completely refreshed dining room with custom black tables, chairs, and booths, decorative wood ceiling details, updated serving areas, remodeled kitchen facilities, private dining space, and restored seating for more than 260 guests.

We’re proud to help preserve a place that means so much to the Macon community and excited to see S&S continue serving families for generations to come.

Project Highlight: S&S Cafeteria - Riverside Dr
Work continues on the S&S Cafeteria on Riverside Drive in Macon that is scheduled to reopen in March. We can practically taste Prime Rib Sunday from here!

It’s been an honor partnering with S&S Cafeterias as their Riverside Drive location rises from the ashes after the kitchen fire last September. This is a place that has been serving up Southern favorites — and making memories — for decades. From fresh Southern classics to those comforting sides we all know and love, the community support behind this comeback has been incredible.

We’re grateful to be part of their comeback story. Huge thanks to the owners, staff, and everyone involved for pushing forward with heart and hard work — and to the community for cheering them on every step of the way. We’re getting closer every day, and we can’t wait to see those doors open and the line forming again! 👏🔥

Project Highlight: TGB recently completed this project for GSFIC in conjunction with Matthew Cash at Place Services, Inc. The building houses a customer service area with a waiting room, several kiosks, a testing area, and a vestibule as well as restrooms to accommodate customers. It also includes accommodations for 2 offices, a breakroom, storage rooms, electrical, mechanical, and comm rooms. This project included paving parking lots, testing areas, and driveways. This new building will now support testing and licensing needs for Georgia drivers in Hazelhurst.
