❤️ Behind every Reece uniform is a whole lot more than an HVAC technician.
There’s a dad. A husband. A boyfriend. A son. A friend. Someone who has a family waiting for them to come home.
This week, I want to give a little extra love to Shawn Padgett and Steve Zimmer for their incredible leadership, dedication, and hard work on a large project right here in Perry. The hours have been long, the work has been demanding, and these guys have continued to show up and lead by example.
Our General Manager, Shawn, is raising a freshman and a senior in high school, just like we are. He’s a father, a teacher, a friend, an uncle, and somehow manages to balance it all while being a steady giant for our team. He shows up. Every. Single. Day.
And Steve Zimmer? A husband, a father to a whole crew of kids, and a man who works hard and leads with his hands and his heart.
Then there’s Nate, Alex, Hunter, Cayden, Gus, and our newest team member, Daniel! These are the guys who spend their days crawling under houses, climbing through attics, and occasionally looking like giant marshmallows in their protective suits. 😂 They go home to kids, pets, girlfriends, ballgames, school events, and all the little things that make life beautiful.
But here’s what I really want our community to know.
When your air goes out, your ice machine quits, or your church or school has a freezer full of food at risk, these are the people who show up. They rearrange their days, miss dinners, work late, and give their best because they know someone is counting on them.
And because YOU continue to trust Reece Heating & Air with your homes and businesses, we’re able to provide careers that help support these families.
That’s something we will never take for granted.
To Shawn, Steve, Nate, Alex, Hunter, Cayden, Gus, Daniel, and our entire Reece family: We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re proud of the people you are both on and off the clock.
To our community, thank you for helping us build something that’s so much bigger than heating and air.
