A perennial that gets as big as a smaller shrub. Don't confuse it for a thistle, they're much cooler than that.

People who work with natural stone develop a keen sense of "eyeballing" things. Working with all shapes and sizes is an art form that's hard to shut off once you have it.

How about this for a first try on leveling a 1300 lb ledge rock?

Marginally better than landing on a whole number when you buy something!

Larry was someone I didn't spend a ton of time with but he made a lasting impression on me. The way he was open to creative design, shared stories of his family and genuinely cared about what seemed to be everything. He's one who helped me grow as a young business owner-even if it's as small as how to act and how to interact.

The coolest thing he shared with me was how he and his wife would take a highschool graduating grandkid anywhere he/she wanted to go...in the world as a gift. What experiences and memories for them.
