***REMINDER***
Plant Aster when they look dull so you can have color in October!

🐝 Love them, so give pollinators all the food you can. This is 'Grape Crush' Aster. Others we like are 'Raydon's Favorite, 'Woods Pink' and 'Woods Purple'. You can expect these, except for Raydon's, to get 20" tall and about 36" wide. They don't like compacted + over irrigated clay like most plants, but other than that they're maintenance free.

All boulders are not the same! They come from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. It's nice to be smack dab in the middle.

Imagine a Weathered Limestone boulder like this with dark mulch around it. We love them and think you will too. We use boulders of any flavor to hide our wonderful landscape lighting fixtures when possible. They're integral to every installation.

We're still bringing in fresh plants and why wouldn't we with the rain fall we've had this year?

This post is showcasing two evergreens. One has leaves. How could it be evergreen? Well, leather leaf viburnums hold onto most of their leaves in our climate. This bush is perfect for acreages -providing bird habitat and screening. It's a VERY hardy selection. Mature size of almost 14' x 12'.

The second set of pictures is of a lesser known pine called Satellite Bosnian Pine. It's an upright but not super columnar shape. We preach diversity and this one definitely fits our plan. Not many people have it which means it won't get wiped out with the rest of them if a specific disease or pest comes out of nowhere.

The Osborne Leagacy Complex landscaping 🏟 🌽

We were given the opportunity to design and implement the landscaping in front of the Osborne Legacy Complex, and boy howdy, was this one of the most fun projects we've done to date!

We've been over the moon with the amount of comments about the all the plantings, bright colors, and the corn!
