I ran in to an old “friend” a few weeks ago; after asking how he’s been doing, he asked “are you still doing that handyman thing?” I didn’t think much about how he said it until later but definitely felt the derogatory/belittling tone when he said it.

Is it the most glamorous, best paying or easiest job I’ve ever had? Absolutely not.

However, walking outside this morning and seeing my littlest guy’s tools all around a ladder I had on the front porch (staining shutters the night before)…I am proud of what I do, what our team does, what our company is based upon and that two of my four sons work with me every day.

YES…I am still doing that “handyman thing” and I’m damn proud of it.

Quick bathroom remodel for a sweet couple from church.

This one had a little more subfloor damage than anticipated so replaced most of the subfloor in the bathroom and still got everything back up and operational a few hours ahead of schedule.

Great job team!
