I’m Tito Gutierrez, founder of Rojas Construction and Remodeling, Inc., a licensed general contractor based in Walnut Creek and proudly serving homeowners throughout the Bay Area.
My journey in the construction and remodeling industry started with a passion for building, working with my hands, and creating spaces that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Born in Mexico and raised with strong values of hard work, honesty, dedication, and craftsmanship, I moved to the United States in 1991 with big dreams and a determination to build a better future. What started with small, hands-on construction projects eventually grew into a lifelong career in residential construction and remodeling.
I discovered early on that remodeling homes wasn’t simply a job for me—it was something I genuinely enjoyed and took pride in. Every project presented a new challenge, and every finished home represented an opportunity to leave something behind that would last for years.
In 2007, I turned that passion into a business and founded Rojas Construction and Remodeling, Inc.

We’re proud of the reviews and recommendations our customers have given us across platforms such as Google, Yelp, and Houzz, but what means the most to me is when a past customer calls us again years later for another project—or recommends Rojas to a friend or family member.
A Little About Me Outside of Construction
Construction is a huge part of my life, but it isn’t the only thing that defines me.
When I need to recharge my batteries, clear my head, and get away from the jobsite, you’ll usually find me doing one of my other passions: fishing.
I love getting out on my boat and heading offshore. There’s something about being out on the ocean, away from the phones, schedules, estimates, and jobsite decisions, that gives me a chance to reset.
I’m especially passionate about salmon, Dungeness crab, and chasing bluefin tuna. Whether I’m working hard on a remodeling project or spending a day offshore looking for fish, I enjoy the challenge, the patience, and the satisfaction that comes with doing something the right way.
For me, fishing is more than just a hobby. It’s one of the ways I recharge so I can come back to work with a clear mind and the same energy and passion I’ve had for construction throughout my career.
So if you ever see me away from the jobsite, there’s a good chance I’m somewhere offshore with a fishing rod in my hand.
