We’re officially underway on a new build, starting with a solid foundation and a carefully engineered floor system. This stage may not look flashy, but it’s one of the most critical parts of the entire project — everything above depends on what’s done right here.

From proper site prep to precise framing, we focus on the details early to ensure long-term performance, durability, and peace of mind for our clients.

The butcher block countertop is now complete, finished with a full waterfall edge that carries the wood grain down the side for a seamless, custom look. Paired with these soft green cabinets, it brings warmth, durability, and intentional design right into the heart of the home.

Windows are in at the Burgs Edge Project 🪟

One of those milestones that really starts to change the feel of a build. With the windows installed, this home is tightening up, letting natural light pour in, and moving one step closer to being fully dried in.

We love how the window layout works with the long front porch—clean lines, great symmetry, and views that connect the inside of the home to the land around it. This phase is where structure meets comfort, and it sets the stage for everything that comes next.

Trades are rolling, progress is steady, and this project is really starting to take shape.

White board-and-batten is officially transforming the Hilltop Project 🤍

Clean lines. Timeless texture. And a crisp backdrop that lets every other material shine. The white metal siding brings a modern farmhouse feel while adding durability that’s built to last.

Paired with the warm wood posts, dark metal roof, and bold accents still to come, this exterior is all about balance—bright, clean, and grounded.

This is the stage where the home really starts to show its personality—and Hilltop is just getting started.

Cabinetry is officially being set at the Hilltop Project 🙌

This kitchen is coming together around a 7’ x 5’ island that will feature a waterfall butcher block countertop—a true focal point that blends warmth, function, and craftsmanship.

This stage is all about precision. Proper layout, alignment, and clearances now ensure everything that follows—countertops, trim, and finishes—fits exactly as intended.

This statement entry is officially in place, and it sets the tone for what’s inside. With trades actively working and the project nearing 80% completion, Burgs Edge is quickly coming together.

From structural details to finish selections, every element is chosen and installed with intention. This door isn’t just an entry — it’s the first impression of the craftsmanship behind it.

Why We Protect Floors — Every Time.

At the Hilltop Project, this polished concrete floor was intentionally protected throughout drywall and paint.
Now that we’re transitioning from paint to trim, the coverings are removed and the floors are fully cleaned — revealing the finish the way it was meant to be seen.

Protecting floors isn’t just about avoiding damage. It’s about:
✔ Preventing scratches, paint splatter, and construction traffic wear
✔ Keeping trades efficient without risking finished surfaces
✔ Delivering a final product that looks as good as it performs
