❤️ A HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO WOW RADIO 97.7 FM AND WALLINGFORD TOYOTA! ❤️

Today, I had the honor of being a guest on WOW Radio 97.7 FM with Steve Zion, President of Wallingford Toyota, along with Pam, Brian, and Joe.

I want to thank each of you from the bottom of my heart for giving me the opportunity to speak on behalf of a very special little girl, Jassy (J-A-S-S-Y), and her parents, Juan and Melissa.

What happened while I was there truly touched my heart.

Steve handed me little teddy bears and gifts to bring to Jassy. Then, employees of Wallingford Toyota came forward and personally handed me money to give to her family. These were people who didn’t have to do anything, but they chose to open their hearts to a little girl they may have never even met.

That, my friends, is what humanity is all about. ❤️

Steve, thank you personally for your very generous donation, for helping spread Jassy’s story, and for setting such a wonderful example for your employees and our community.

To Pam, Brian, and Joe, thank you for welcoming me and allowing Jassy’s story to be heard over the airwaves.

Ten days ago, this little girl’s life changed forever. But in those same ten days, she has brought together strangers, businesses, families, and an entire community in ways I never could have imagined.

Jassy may be small, but the love surrounding her is enormous.

I walked into that radio station today to speak for a little girl who cannot speak for herself right now. I walked out reminded that there are still so many beautiful, compassionate people in this world.

Please continue to pray for Jassy. Her journey is far from over, and neither is our commitment to helping her family.

When I look at this picture, my heart breaks, but it also fills with hope.

I cannot believe the incredible outpouring of love, prayers, generosity, and support that this one little girl has brought together.

One little girl. One family. One community. Thousands of hearts touched. ❤️

Jassy probably has no idea just how many people are praying for her, fighting for her, donating to her family, and waiting for the day we hear that she’s getting better.

People who have never met her are coming together. Strangers are becoming friends. Businesses, churches, police officers, organizations, families, and ordinary hardworking people are showing what humanity is all about.

Jassy, sweetheart, look what you’ve done. You’ve brought an entire community together through love.

Juan and Melissa, I hope you realize that you are not walking this road alone. We are walking it with you.

I will continue doing everything in my power to help this beautiful little girl and her family.

To everyone who has donated, shared her story, or whispered a prayer for Jassy, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

❤️🙏 JUSTICE FOR JASSY — AN IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Today, Attorney Jonathan Raad was at our business, Abrasive Finishing Industries (AFI), with Jennifer Cuevas of NBC Connecticut, Channel 30, to speak on behalf of little Jassy and her parents, Juan and Melissa Montanez.

AN ARREST IS IMMINENT!

This beautiful little girl was struck by a vehicle and left lying in the road. Her family has been living through every parent’s worst nightmare, and no parent should ever have to experience what Juan and Melissa are going through.

I want to personally thank Attorney Jonathan Raad for stepping forward to represent this family, Jennifer Cuevas and NBC Connecticut for helping bring attention to Jassy’s story, and especially the Wallingford Police Department for the incredible dedication, time, and effort they have put into this investigation.

I’ve gotten to know Juan and his family personally, and this little girl has touched my heart in ways I cannot even explain. I made a promise to myself that I would do everything within my power to help them, and I have no intention of stopping.

We want justice for Jassy. But above all, we want this precious little girl to heal, recover, and return home to her loving family.

❤️🙏 JASLYNN EDNALIZ MONTANEZ — AN 80-POUND LITTLE GIRL LEFT IN THE ROAD AFTER A HIT-AND-RUN

On Monday, October 12, 2026, at approximately 4:19 p.m., a beautiful little girl named Jaslynn Ednaliz Montanez, lovingly known as Jassy, was struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Jassy weighed just 80 pounds.

The vehicle that struck her appears to have been a Chevrolet Malibu four-door sedan, weighing approximately 3,500 pounds.

An 80-pound little girl against a 3,500-pound automobile.

The impact threw Jassy approximately 20 feet.

And as horrifying as that is, what happened next is almost impossible for me to comprehend.

THE DRIVER LEFT THE SCENE.

This precious little girl was left lying in the roadway, seriously injured, while the person who struck her drove away.

No child should ever be abandoned like that. Someone could have stopped, called for help, and stayed with her. Instead, the driver fled.

Since that terrible afternoon, Jassy has been lying in a hospital bed at Yale New Haven Hospital, heavily sedated and suffering from a traumatic brain injury.

Her loving parents, Juan and Melissa Montanez, have been beside her every single day, praying for their beautiful little girl to recover.

Imagine being those parents. Imagine getting that phone call. Imagine seeing your 80-pound daughter lying in a hospital bed, not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

I am angry. I am heartbroken. And I am determined to do everything within my power to help this family.

I want justice for Jassy. But right now, above everything else, I want this little girl to heal, to open her eyes, to smile, to laugh, and to have the childhood she deserves.

Juan and Melissa should not have to worry about medical bills, their jobs, or their financial future while sitting beside their daughter.

Please, if you can donate $5, $10, $20, or whatever you can afford, do it. If you cannot donate, please share her story and pray for her recovery.

Jassy could have been your daughter, your granddaughter, your niece, or your little neighbor.

I will not stop advocating for this little girl and her family.

🚨 I’M ANGRY, I’M DISGUSTED, AND I’VE HAD ENOUGH! JUSTICE FOR JASSY! 🚨

I’ve been kind. I’ve been gentle. I’ve tried to remain calm and respectful. WELL, I’M DONE BEING NICE ABOUT THIS!

Someone hit an innocent little girl, JASSY, and drove away, leaving her seriously injured in the road!

WHAT KIND OF HUMAN BEING DOES THAT TO A CHILD?

I’m sick and tired of thinking about what this beautiful little girl and her family are going through because of someone’s actions!

I WANT AN ARREST! I WANT ACCOUNTABILITY! AND IF THIS INDIVIDUAL IS FOUND GUILTY, I WANT TO SEE JAIL TIME!

I’m calling on the Wallingford Police Department to publicly release this individual’s name and mugshot when legally permitted. Our community deserves answers!

NO MORE EXCUSES! NO MORE HIDING! NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!

And while I’m furious about what happened to Jassy, let me make something perfectly clear.

OUR WALLINGFORD POLICE DEPARTMENT DESERVES A STANDING OVATION! 💙

These officers have worked tirelessly on this case.

Juan, Jassy’s father, personally told me that TWO WALLINGFORD POLICE OFFICERS FOLLOWED THE AMBULANCE TO THE HOSPITAL AND WERE THERE WITH JASSY AFTER SHE WAS HIT!

Think about that for a minute. These officers didn’t just respond to an accident and move on. They cared enough to be there for this seriously injured little girl.

THAT IS COMPASSION! THAT IS HUMANITY! THAT IS WHAT REAL POLICE WORK IS ALL ABOUT!

And if that wasn’t enough, the Wallingford Police Union even donated to Jassy’s GoFundMe!

THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL SERVING AND PROTECTING YOUR COMMUNITY!

To every officer, detective, and investigator involved, THANK YOU! YOU HAVE MY UTMOST RESPECT!

But my anger isn’t going away. I’ve seen what this family is going through. I’ve been to the hospital. I’ve looked into the eyes of a father whose little girl is fighting to recover.

THIS IS PERSONAL TO ME NOW!

Juan, Melissa, and Jassy have become family to me, and I will NOT stop speaking up for this little girl.

I don’t care how old the driver is, who they know, or what excuses they have. EVERYONE MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE UNDER THE LAW!

JASSY DESERVES JUSTICE. HER PARENTS DESERVE ANSWERS. AND OUR COMMUNITY DESERVES TO KNOW THAT LEAVING AN INJURED CHILD IN THE ROAD HAS SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES!

I’m not asking for special treatment.

I’M DEMANDING JUSTICE!
