Building at the Shore means every site comes with its own set of conditions.
We demolished the existing home here in Manasquan early this summer and made progress where we could. But on a tight corner lot just off the beach, the realities of summer traffic and activity meant there was only so much work that could be done safely and efficiently.
That didn’t mean the project stood still. We used that time to get ahead on client selections, detail refinements and many other decisions that typically happen alongside the framing phase, while keeping our team and trades aligned so we were ready to move when the summer season wound down.
Right after Labor Day, we were back at it. A few weeks later, framing is well underway and the new home is taking shape.
Construction doesn’t always follow a perfect timeline. Good building is knowing when to push, when to plan, and being ready to move when the time is right.
