Do you need new or updated surveillance equipment? South Bend based businesses and nonprofits can apply to receive up to $4,000 from the City of South Bend for new or updated camera equipment and installation. Winning entities would become part of the South Bend Police Department's camera registry and would integrate with the Real Time Crime Center. The grant is currently open and awards are made on a rolling basis until funds are spent down. We want to give a big thanks to Matt Ellis of Ellis Hardwoods LLC. Matt was quick to offer us help when one of our trucks got stuck on the ice this morning. The friendly help that he gave our guys was just a reminder of why we love living and working in Town of Walkerton, Indiana! Also, big thanks to the Walkerton Police Department for blocking traffic while Matt towed us out!
