Tom Duffy Designs LLC Custom Woodworking Projects, Sign Making, Custom Cabinetry, and Design with CNC and Laser Capabilities. I have enjoyed woodworking since I was a teenager.

A design that begins with an idea, drawn and engineered to the customers satisfaction, to result in a one of a kind piece. I have steadily grown my skills, my shop and my small business over the years. I am a custom draftsman and can design and draw anything I make. I am a husband, father of two, fisher, craftsman, and friend. I look forward to creating something beautiful for you that is hard to find in a store and will last for generations to come.

It was a busy September that’s for sure. I finished this display cabinet along with a business sign (size is 5ft long x 3ft high), contestant winner sign for our outdoor kitchen and then many items for my daughter’s wedding. Custom Wedding Arches – Tom Duffy Designs

Here’s a recent project we made for our daughter’s wedding! This set of wooden arches was inspired by cathedral and stained-glass windows and can be used for a ceremony backdrop, entrance, reception or photo area.

A client came to me because she has been looking for the right sized and style of coffee table for a long time. She couldn’t find anything so she sent me a picture and asked if I could make this but to her dimensions. This is what I came up with. The last picture is what she sent me to replicate. Fun project and I love taking a clients ideas and making them a reality.

Been a bit since my last post. I’ve been busy finishing the fur hat display cabinet, making some silhouette ducks for a waterfowl chapter, doing a rustic carved handrail, and starting some table and bench skins. For the table and bench skins the client has a nice sturdy table but wanted a different look so these tops I’m making will cover the existing table and benches. They will be finished with a nice exterior oil finish.

The client sent some photos of the finished bar in its place. It really fits the space well. I completed a beautiful resting chest and now working on a fur hat display. The sides pull out to access the hats so the front can be a large glass viewing area.
There will be LEDs installed also to illuminate the hats when displayed.

Next project is moving along nicely. The client had to take some trees down on their property. They took those trees and got them sawed and dried to get a bar made for their man/woman cave. They came to me for the design and fabrication. The top pictured is 10-1/2 ft long x 44” wide, massive!! What’s left is to sand,fill the voids, and finish the top then construct the bottom foot rail. That will be 1-1/4” pipe painted black. Fun project!
