Certainly something to keep an eye on the next few days👍🏼

The National Hurricane Center has bumped up development odds significantly for a disorganized area of showers and storms in the southwestern Gulf. Formation chances through 7 days have risen from 50 to 70 percent, while the 48-hour odds have also increased from 10 to 30 percent.

A tropical depression is now considered likely to form sometime in the middle to latter part of this week. The system is expected to drift eastward over the next few days before turning northward.
