Project Progress Update

From excavation and concrete to a fully framed and weather-tight addition, this cottage renovation continues to move forward.

Built with ZIP System sheathing and weather barrier, the project is now in the rough-in stage with plumbing and electrical underway. Spray foam insulation is up next as we prepare for the next phase.

A great finishing touch to this new ranch home.

This 12’ × 24’ farmer’s porch was built with craftsmanship and longevity in mind. We used composite decking, PVC trim, and vinyl board-and-batten siding to create a clean, durable, and low-maintenance space that will stand up to the Maine seasons for years to come.

Quality materials, attention to detail, and a finished product we’re proud to put our name on. It’s a feature that enhances both the look and value of the home.

A few progress photos from this 40’×40’ shop build.

This phase included setting a 40’ structural steel beam weighing nearly 4,000 lbs, installing the engineered open-web floor trusses, framing the second-floor walls, and setting the roof trusses. The combination of the steel beam and open-web floor trusses provides a true clear-span floor system while allowing mechanical trades to run utilities with minimal modifications.

Quality framing starts with the right materials and attention to detail. Looking forward to getting this one dried in and onto the next phase.

Project update from Waldoboro

This 40' x 40' shop with living space above is starting to take shape. The 12-foot-tall first-floor walls are framed with 2x8 lumber to meet today's energy code requirements and create a more efficient building envelope.

Next up: a 40-foot clear-span steel beam and floor system to create the open shop space below.

Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
