🏡 **HELP SAVE A 75-YEAR-OLD ARMY VETERAN’S FAMILY HOME — WE’RE MAKING PROGRESS! 🇺🇸**
For nearly 100 years, a family home in Wakefield, Kansas, has stood as a place of memories, love, and family history. Since 1927, this house has been part of the McClellan family’s story. Today, Kathleen McClellan, a 75-year-old Army veteran, is at risk of losing the home that means so much to her.
**But there is hope — and we are making progress!**
I’m grateful to share that **The Home Depot is donating more than $7,000 in materials** to help make the repairs possible! This is an incredible step forward, and I’m thankful for their generosity and support in helping preserve Kathleen’s home.
Now, we need help with the next step: **raising $500 to cover the required permit fees** so we can move forward with the project.
The porch needs urgent repairs to help prevent the home from being condemned. Without these repairs, Kathleen could face the heartbreaking loss of her family home and the memories it holds — along with the overwhelming cost of rebuilding on a fixed income.
As a licensed contractor, I have developed a plan to help restore the home. With donated materials already committed, we have an opportunity to turn this plan into something real. Now we need our community to come together to help make it happen.
