After the kitchen, there’s this.
The room where the family lands at the end of the day. Where the fire goes on when the temperature drops. Where the windows frame the Vermont landscape like a painting that changes every season. Where the light comes in long in the morning and golden in the afternoon and everyone finds their spot without thinking about it.
We put a lot of care into these spaces — and not just in how they look. In how they feel. The ceiling height that makes the room breathe. The fireplace that anchors everything around it. The windows positioned to pull the outside in. The layout that invites people to stay a little longer than they planned.
Because after all the craftsmanship and all the details, what we’re really building is time together. Game nights and quiet mornings and holidays and ordinary Tuesdays that end up being the ones people remember.
That’s what a great gathering space does. It holds all of it.
We love getting to build those rooms.
