🌧️ UPDATE 🌧️
Our maintenance crews and police officers have been working hard and were able to clear most of the debris and downed lines from our roadways. We truly appreciate their hard work and dedication tonight. ❤️
CPS Energy is still onsite working hard to restore electricity to 6th Street and other areas along 1604. Please continue to use caution and be patient as crews work to safely restore power and clear remaining debris.
There will still be more cleanup tomorrow, but please know the City is aware and will continue doing everything we can to get our community back to normal.
Thank you, Somerset, for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe tonight! 💙

With the severe weather moving through our area, we’re asking everyone to stay off the roads for now, unless absolutely necessary. We currently have live wires down near 6th St and Somerset Rd., and traffic lights are out at 1604 & Somerset Road.
Please slow down, stay safe, and give our crews time to respond. ❤️
Somerset, let’s look out for one another this evening. Please be sure to call non-emergency to have an officer dispatched if needed (210) 335-6000, and call 911 in case of an emergency. Thank you!
