The company has invented and manufactured a machine that eliminates flies and their larvae on dairy farms. The machine is called The Venus FlyVac, and it eliminates flies without the use of pesticides. The company can manufacture and sell the machine, or use the machine to provide the service to dairy farmers. The requested funding will be used for the manufacturing and selling of The Venus FlyVac, and to start the company's service of eliminating live flies and their larvae for dairy farmers. The owner would like to build a shop where the units will be assembled and for storage of replacement parts and supplies, along with an office in which to do business. Venus Fly Control's main goal is to provide dairymen with a healthier way to eliminate flies and fly larvae around the stantion curb lines in their dairies. The company can do this without affecting the environment in unhealthy ways. The owner believes that dairymen need an option other than the use of pesticides, which The Venus FlyVac offers. The company will use the requested funding to market its FlyVac through a professional website, flyers and brochures, and a booth at the World Ag Show. Building additional FlyVacs is also a priority, since the company can't sell what it doesn't have. There is a large market of dairy farmers who need a pesticide-free solution to ridding their cows of flies, and Venus Fly Control is the only company offering that solution.
