When a homeowner decides he can hang and finish his ROG himself. Well, the hanging went well. After he finally finished applying the tape coat. He realized quickly how over his head he was in 🐊 infested waters. lol
He called me to take over.

This job almost put me 6’ under yesterday. It was 98 outside the sunroom. After wrapping all the glass up with plastic. It was probably close to 106 inside.
I was completely depleted as of 2:00. I had to stop 5 times to wet my head down in order to cool me down. Muscle spasms in my right shoulder, left hip and hamstring.
We kept going, finishing up at 7:00. I weighed myself when I got home. I dropped 11-12 pounds from the night before.
I came back today to sand and clean up. The crazy thing is, we did another sunroom a month ago that was exactly twice the size in board count with 4 windows that were corner beaded on all four sides. We did the other sunroom by 5 o’clock.

When a friend tells you he has done drywall before. You just might want to “Fact Check” them first. Not only did we have to remove everything they hung. We had to add more framing for support and adjust much of what they did.
The others pics are examples of why you shouldn’t hire a handyman to do drywall work.
