QSR CONSTRUCTED
No Questions? That Concerns Me.
Construction has started on your restaurant.
Weeks go by. No RFIs. No phone calls. No questions from the contractor.
Sounds great, right?
Maybe not.
Restaurant projects are complicated. Equipment changes. Existing conditions aren't what was expected. A duct doesn't fit. A detail needs clarification.
Things come up. That's construction.
What concerns us is when nobody asks.
Is the contractor following the construction documents—or is someone in the field simply deciding, “We’ll do it this way.”
Those small decisions can become expensive problems once walls are closed, equipment arrives, or inspections begin.
At IONIC DeZign Studios, we encourage our clients to keep us involved throughout construction.
Not because we need to control the contractor.
Because continuity matters.
We understand the design, the owner's goals, the operational needs, and the brand intent. When something needs to change, we can help make an informed decision instead of an improvised one.
Questions from the field don't worry me.
No questions from a complicated restaurant project do.
Restaurant owners: Who’s protecting your design once your project leaves the drawing board and enters the field?
