Plumber Mike – Pro Tip
Remove garden hoses from outdoor faucets before winter.

Leaving a hose attached can trap water in the faucet and line, which can freeze and cause:

Cracked hose bibs

Burst pipes inside the wall

Disconnect the hose, drain it, and if you have one, shut off the interior valve and open the outdoor faucet to bleed it down.
