Last week, we joined West Georgia Technical College to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Stanley H. Bressner Industrial Technology Building at the Murphy Campus.

Caliber 1 Construction was honored to serve as the general contractor for this new industrial training facility, which will support WGTC’s Commercial Truck Driving, Electrical Lineworker, and Welding programs. The space includes a 40-booth welding lab, classrooms, community space, training areas, and hands-on learning environments designed to prepare students for real careers in high-demand industries.

We’re grateful to WGTC, the Bressner Family, TCSG - Technical College System of Georgia, PRAXIS3, and every partner involved for the opportunity to help bring this vision to life.

Congratulations on this exciting milestone for West Georgia and the next generation of skilled professionals.

In Villa Rica, Georgia, Caliber 1 Construction completed the ground-up construction of an office building designed to support business operations through quality materials, coordinated systems, and a complete interior and exterior buildout.

Key project elements included:

The Douglasville Recycling Center was built to support a cleaner, more sustainable community by improving how materials are collected, processed, and managed.

Built in Douglasville, Georgia, this project included full-site development and construction of a new municipal recycling facility designed to meet operational needs through durable construction, coordinated ex*****on, and efficient site planning.

Highlights of the project included:

🏗️ Extensive grading, site preparation, and road construction
