Monday august 1st WV adopts the 2020 code. A couple changes on new services and upgrades.
1st you now have to have a service rated disconnect at the meter.
2nd whole house surge protection is now required.
Both in my opinion are great changes!
1st change protects the firemen and first responders that risk their lives to save you!
2nd change can help protect you from costly power surges. Surge protection is usually 200-300.00 most deductibles are 1,000.00
For insurance claims.
