Here's the basics: We started with a 30x36 Gable with 3-Sided 10' Wraparound Porches - Currently that's about $78,995, + transportation.

Curious what these folks chose to make it their own?
-Upgraded ¾” T&G Advantech Subfloor (from ⅝”)
-Had us build on a Basement for $1,895 - no fee for low crawl space
-Added some Basement Steps for about $395
-Raised the first first floor to 9’ Sidewalls
-Went to 16” on Center Vertical Walls (recommended when raising sidewalls)
-Added a 12’ Peak Dormer on their 2nd level inset 2' from the corner
-Upgraded to 6” posts (from 4”)
-Had us build a set of porch steps

We’ll build your Gambrel, Gable, or One-Story SweetCabin in any size up to 30’ wide, as long as you’d like, with any number of porches. Maybe you’ll have us close-in a portion of a porch for more interior space, add a first floor or second level deck, add a dormer or few of any length you choose, add a stand-alone or attached garage, or any number of customizations to make your SweetCabin truly unique. This one took a good bit longer, but we fought the weather and got it done. Many thanks to our patient customers! We think it turned out great!

One we somehow missed sharing from last summer… and it’s too good not to post!

This is a 28x40 Two-Story Gambrel SweetCabin with 3-sided 10' Wraparound Porches (across two widths and one length). Currently that’s running $80,400 + transportation fee — YES, that price includes labor and materials.

It comes standard with:
• Straight stairs up to a full second floor or loft, YOUR CHOICE
• Metal roof with ridge vent already installed (PLENTY of color choices!)
• Kiln-dried Eastern White Pine siding, put up in a true board & batten style
• Built with honest-to-goodness Amish craftsmanship

We build in parts of OH / WV / KY only. Call to check availibility for your particular location.

For the folks who like the nitty-gritty:
These homeowners customized it to fit their needs, adding things like a closed-in 10x6 section of the porch, a big 16x40 porch roof, upgraded to 6" porch posts, one porch post eliminated for a wider opening, 9' first-floor sidewalls, 16" on-center framing, 3/4" tongue-and-groove Advantech subfloor, a low stair landing, a few extra window and door installs, etc. Every build’s a little different — those extras are chosen and priced job-by-job — but this one’s a fine example of how folks take a solid SweetCabin and make it their own.

If you’ve been considering a Gambrel SweetCabin with porches galore, this one’s a great one to take notes from! It’s got a little bit of everything. Don’t forget we can also add shed style dormers on our gambrel cabins to give just a little more space on the second floor. That also give you another vertical wall in which to add more windows. $58,695 + transportation fee

This price covers our standard 30x32 Two-Story Gambrel SweetCabin with 2-Sided 8' Wraparound Porches—the kind of place you picture when you think about slowing life down a notch. This one has plenty of porch space for rocking chairs and muddy boots, tall ceilings that let the space breathe, and a build that feels solid, time-tested, and built to last.

These folks kept the bones classic and added a few thoughtful upgrades to make it truly theirs—raising the first-floor ceiling to 9 feet, tightening things up with 16" on-center studs, and upgrading to a 3/4" tongue-and-groove Advantech subfloor. Inside, they added a low 90-degree stair landing for easier, more comfortable access. Outside, they beefed things up with 6x6 porch posts, added porch steps, and included a few extra window and door installs to let in more natural light. These options reasonably priced separately.

This is a great example of a standard SweetCabin! Just a few thoughtful upgrades chosen on this particular build (priced separately): upgraded to 3/4" tongue-and-groove Advantech subfloor, added just two extra window installs at $95 each, and a couple sets of porch steps for a few hundred bucks. Posts below the decking are priced on last day, which came to a whopping $60 for these low porches.
