Well folks… after all this rain, the yards around Southeast Texas have officially entered swamp dungeon mode.
We’re not saying the grass is wet…
We’re saying somewhere out there, a frog just filed a property tax exemption and claimed your front yard as a pond. 🐸
But even with the mud, ruts, standing water, and surprise “is that dirt or quicksand?” moments — Happy Hippie Lawn Care is still out here making the rounds.
And this summer comes with a pretty special milestone for us:
💜 Evelyn has officially joined the mowing rounds. 💜
This is her first real summer riding with us, working the route, learning the flow, getting muddy, sweating it out, and stepping into something her big sister helped build years before her.
For us, that makes this more than just another wet week of mowing.

Seven years apart, a new generation is picking up the same work ethic, the same family grind, the same “we do what needs doing” mindset — and honestly, we couldn’t be prouder.
Lillie helped lay the path before her.
Now Evelyn is walking it — mud, mower tracks, headphones, purple shirt, and all. 🎧💜
So if your yard looks like a final boss arena right now, don’t worry. We see it. We respect it. We may even name it dramatically before we mow it.
