I, Rachele, started calling for prices on spray foam insulation for our metal building. I called every spray foam company within 50 miles and not one answered the phone or returned my messages. I tried one more time and was able to reach one company and the estimate was more than the cost of the shell of our house and the foundation combined. One night, discussing my frustration I jokingly said th
at we should start our own spray foam company because obviously everyone is busy and charging crazy prices. Life went on and the house project moved slowly through the next winter. Todd was becoming disillusioned with what he was doing for work. After one particularly long grueling day, we started talking about what else we could do and possibly start our own business. The joke about the spray foam came up again. I, being an entrepreneur, knew the first thing to do was calculate need and profitability. Spray Foam and the trades are a difficult business, but also in high demand. A trip to the bank and a trip to Bozeman for a spray foam trailer and we are in business. Both Todd and I are Bitterroot natives and Todd served his Country by joining the Army. We dedicate ourselves to making an honest living without price gauging or “Bitterrooting”. We both come from a long line of hardworking tradesmen and my family has been self-employed for generations. We followed in their footsteps and had many adventures of our own.
