While weā€™re finally enjoying our first real days offā€”and our first actual weekendā€”since February 26th, I want to take a minute to brag on these two young men in this picture. šŸ’Ŗ

Houston and Subastian have been working with me for over a year now (Houston, almost two), and in that time Iā€™ve put a lot on their shouldersā€”responsibilities and decisions most guys their age donā€™t usually have to carry.

Iā€™ve watched them grow up a lot in that time. Theyā€™ve paid for their bad decisions, earned their wins, and sharpened the way they think and approach problems. These days, watching them work through challenges makes me smile a lot more than it makes me shake my headā€¦ which is saying something. šŸ˜„

Theyā€™ve pushed through 85-hour weeks, with some days starting at 2 AM šŸ˜³ā€”and through all of it, thereā€™s been very little complaining and zero bad attitudes. Not only did they help keep this casino job on schedule, but they also held the quality standard we expect. Thatā€™s not easy to do.

Are they perfect? Not even close. But then againā€¦ none of us were in our early 20s. They still make mistakes and frustrate me sometimesā€”but they rarely make the same mistake twice, and theyā€™re always willing to listen and learn. That matters.

Hats off to you both, gentlemen. šŸ‘Š I appreciate everything you do, and I truly enjoy working alongside you.

Now letā€™s enjoy a weekend like we actually remember what those are. šŸ»šŸ˜†
