From start to finish, this project came together exactly as planned.

We cleared several large oak trees to make way for the new build site, then hauled in 14 loads of fill dirt, compacting it in lifts to build a solid foundation. The finished 40’ x 40’ pad was raised approximately 4.5 feet on the back side to achieve the customer’s desired grade.

Once the pad was complete, we took delivery of two 20-foot shipping containers and carefully set and leveled them to the customer’s specifications.

To finish the project, we hauled in and spread 36 tons of clean #57 stone to cap the driveway, giving it a clean, finished look over the existing #610 base.

A big thank you to JC Sanders for helping us knock this one out. We appreciate the opportunity to help another customer improve their property.

If you’re planning a project that involves land clearing, excavation, house pads, gravel driveways, shipping container placement, or general property improvements, we’d be glad to discuss how we can help. 601-529-9593

Another one wrapped up for a customer in Louisiana!

This driveway had seen better days. We stripped out all of the old gravel that had become mixed with dirt and debris over the years, corrected a couple of drainage issues, and gave it a fresh start.

The customer requested that we lay it as thick as we could , so we hauled in and spread approximately 54 tons of #610 limestone to topcoat the driveway. 📞 601-529-9593

Sometimes you’ll get a forestry mulching quote that seems too good to be true. Before you decide based on price alone, ask what equipment is actually showing up to your property.

Think of it like the difference between a push mower and a commercial zero-turn. They’ll both cut the grass, but the speed, quality, and overall results are in a different league.

The same goes for forestry mulching. Not all compact track loaders (skid steers) and mulching heads are built the same. Horsepower, hydraulic flow, and the mulching head itself all play a major role in production, finish quality, and what the machine can realistically handle.

If you’re looking for the maneuverability of a compact machine without sacrificing performance, Forest & Fields has you covered. Our setup is designed to tackle heavy vegetation while leaving a clean, professional finish in places larger equipment can’t always access.

Don’t choose based on price alone—choose the equipment and experience that will get the job done right the first time 601-529-9593

Another small grub-and-grind project completed. We cleared the lot, removing all root matter and vegetation, then mulched all material on-site and condensed it into chips. Once finished, we raked the entire area clean, leaving the customer with a now usable space.

No burn piles. No hauling debris off. No unsightly stacks of trees left behind.

If you have a clearing, mulching, or site prep project coming up, give us a call at 601-529-9593 for a free quote.

We had the opportunity to team up with JC Sanders Excavation, LLC on this recent grub and grind project.

This is a great solution for smaller lots where burning isn’t an option, but removing all root material from the soil is still necessary. We come in, clear the area, grind all trees and root balls, condense the material, then load and haul off the chips—leaving you with a clean, workable site.

If you’ve got a similar situation, feel free to reach out. We’d be glad to talk through the best options for your next clearing project.
