Making a second pass on these floors, after sanding the floors on an angle we straighten it out with the 36 grit to remove the sanding marks and any remaining finish.

This was a fun one we finished up recently - Brand new 4 post railing system with 1/2” black iron balusters, 12 new treads and risers installed as well. We were tasked with matching the newly installed prefinished flooring where we ended up mixing a dozen or so custom colors in attempts to come as close as possible. Most importantly the homeowner is happy with the color match which means W&W’s job is done here- onto the next one!

Scraping corners is one of the final steps of a sand & refinish. After the final pass with the edger, all corners, door jambs and any other bits of old finish are scraped clean. The key is to keep the file handy and keep a sharp edge
