After two days of hard work another massive property has been completed. This slice of land in Holden has been restored to it's full glory with the Precision Tractor Works attention to detail. Finally some before-hand pictures to really show-off the difference our work makes. Ground condition were extremely soft; unable to mow back into the tree line around the perimeter of the field, but made the best of a bad situation. Will be returning soon to torch the brush piles!

Driveway number two of the season on Verona Island just completed.

First addressed the middle of the driveway erosion caused by lack of crown and high shoulders atop the hill.

Shoulders of the driveway were cut lower and the crown was built up, giving the driveway a proper grade to promote shedding of rain water to the edges.

Then 24 yards of 1” gravel was hauled in and tailgate spread, raked out, and given a final grade.

Topped of the job by giving the fresh gravel a roll with a vibrating compactor to really hammer the material in for extra hold, especially on the steep hill!

First driveway of 2021 out back of Bucksport complete.

Took every bit of 15 yards of 1” gravel, but it really came around.

Even got a nice rain shower at the end of it to wet things down for best possible roller compaction!

5 days, 62 hours, and 13 massive brush piles later this beautiful piece of land has been restored to it’s natural glory.

Per usual just got to work forgetting to take beforehand pictures, but the field was plagued with countless aged blow-downs and low hanging branches from the heavy snow winters. Each tree received a haircut up high along with a full trunk trimming back down on the ground with a string trimmer.

No job is too big! Special thanks to Austin for putting in 34 hours alongside me trimming branches and clearing blow-downs.

Attention to detail is what we specialize in; not every contractor would of took the time to reverse their machine up and down to cut this extreme side hill.
..not everything can be cut from a machine; extra time is taken to hand trim tight in around trees and other obstacles for the best possible looking finish.

That’s the PTW difference; not satisfied until you are!

Pothole correction for the first and washout correction on the second driveway; reworked existing ground no new material added, finished off with roller compaction.

Driveways are a favorite! Corrected drop coming off fresh pavement to the drive, added a trailer pad, and resurfaced the whole drive with a fresh layer of 1/4” crusher dust. Finished off with roller compaction for an extra hold during heavy rains. Awesome customers, pleasure working this one.

Driveway work done in September as well. Squared up in front of the garage, blended excess material, and re-graded the entire drive for better rain runoff capabilities.
