This historic venue serves as the backdrop for the renowned Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit, and our team had the privilege of providing a complete design transformation for several key spaces within this remarkable setting.
Our design vision encompassed multiple areas, including a merchandise shop, lounge, two bars, and a ticket box space. Drawing inspiration from the timeless beauty of Van Gogh's art, we curated an environment that seamlessly integrates artistry, functionality, and a sense of enchantment.
The merchandise shop serves as a gateway to the exhibition, inviting visitors to explore and indulge in a carefully curated selection of Van Gogh-inspired products. From wall displays to shelving units, every element of the shop has been meticulously designed to showcase the merchandise in an artistic and visually compelling way. Custom fixtures and lighting have been strategically placed to enhance the overall shopping experience and evoke a sense of excitement and anticipation.
The lounge area is designed to provide a comfortable and inviting space where visitors can relax and socialize before or after experiencing the exhibit. From luxurious seating arrangements to soft lighting, we have created an atmosphere that encourages contemplation and conversation. Every detail, from the selection of materials to the arrangement of accessories, has been carefully curated to harmonize with the historical Germania House while exuding a contemporary aesthetic.
The two bars within the exhibition space are designed to be focal points that seamlessly blend functionality with artistic expression. Custom bar designs showcase the unique style of Van Gogh's art, incorporating elements such as color palettes, patterns, and textures that pay homage to his iconic brushstrokes. These bars not only serve as refreshment hubs but also as art installations in their own right, immersing visitors in a sensory experience that extends beyond the exhibition.
The ticket box space has been transformed into an area that captivates visitors from the moment they enter. We have created a visually stunning environment that sets the tone for the immersive journey they are about to embark on. The design elements, from the ticket counter to the surrounding walls, evoke a sense of anticipation and excitement, ensuring that the experience begins even before stepping into the main exhibition.
Throughout the project, we have paid meticulous attention to every detail, ensuring that the furniture, accessories, lighting, and custom designs seamlessly integrate with the overarching artistic theme. Our goal was to create a cohesive and immersive experience that celebrates the beauty and artistry of Van Gogh while honoring the historical significance of the Germania House.
